Volvo Bus has announced it has appointed Sarah Forbes to the role of director – strategic partnerships and projects based in Perth.
Sarah joined Volvo last week having held senior management and executive roles in a number of suppliers to the bus and coach industry in Australia. Most recently she held the position of director of corporate services at Bustech Group.
Volvo said that Sarah is a qualified commercial lawyer and public transport professional who has a keen interest in buses and working towards safe and reliable transport solutions for the Australian public.
“Sarah also holds a degree in Asian Studies and a diploma in Leadership and Management and her experience and knowledge of the Australian market coupled with her global and regional understanding makes her a perfect fit for the role,” said David Mead, vice president, Volvo Bus Asia Pacific Region.
“As our business evolves, we need people who can adapt quickly, find creative solutions to our business challenges and create meaningful and strategic partnerships to allow our business to grow and flourish,” he said.
