Operators looking for a light-duty tipper have updated versions of the popular Fuso Canter to consider.
Fuso has let us know about the upgrades that come to their ‘Built Ready’ model with the Canter 815 factory tipper model now boasting a two-way tailgate and additional standard features.
The two-way tailgate replaces the fixed top-hinged tipper rear tailgate section and allows operators to fold the rear tailgate out of the way, Fuso tells us this will bring big advantages in applications requiring larger items to be unloaded.
Other upgrades for the Fuso 815 Canter tipper include a hydraulic body lock, for additional safety and stability when loading and unloading machinery, grab handles and steps, rope rails and additional tray capacity.
That extra tray capacity takes the space inside the load area from 2.4 cubic metres to 2.6 cubic metres, while the offering boasts a GVM of 7500kg.
Both the 815 and the smaller 615 tipper variant can be classified with a 4500kg rating if they are to be driven by car licence holders.
“We are happy to respond to Australian demand for a two-way tailgate for the Canter 815 and believe this addition will make it easier for our customers to get the job done.” – Fuso Truck and Bus Australia Director, Alex Müller.
Alex says he believes the Fuso offerings can now more than match the competition.
“Our Canter tipper models already have the best in class payload and turning circle and advanced active safety systems, but these upgrades make the 815 an even more attractive proposition,”
“The fact that both of these trucks can be specified as car-licence models if required means they have a very wide appeal.”
