THAT’S A SIX CHUM ! – SCANIA ANNOUNCES SPECIAL OFFERS ON EURO 6 RIGIDS

Swedish truck maker Scania claims it is “revving”  up its offer to rigid truck customers announcing  a special limited time offer on new trucks, all of which it says are Euro 6 compliant.

Scania points out that it has been marketing and  delivering clean and frugal Euro 6 compliant engines to the Australian market more than ten years, and that it now has thousands of these trucks working every day across many and diverse applications.  With  of experience

Scania says its new offer  provides Euro 6 retail customers with up to six years of free servicing and up to six years of Scania Finance funding options.

“As the pioneer brand bringing Euro 6 to the Australian market across the breadth of our range, Scania is no stranger to the exhaust emissions technology, and as such we are well placed to welcome new customers who may be looking for a Euro 6 solution for the first time,” said Scania Australia’s director of truck sales. Benjamin Nye said.

“Scania rigid trucks are used across the country in a variety of roles, some more high profile than others. We have red Scania rigid trucks working as fire appliances in all states and territories, we have white waste trucks similarly working in urban and regional centres, while jet vac drainage trucks, cement pumpers, tilt trays, recovery trucks, emergency rescue and incident control trucks are all popular, along with of course, the more common-or-garden curtainsider last-mile delivery varieties.

“In line with Scania’s modular concept the Scania rigid range starts with a simple 4×2 configuration and extends through 6×2, 8×2, 6×4, 8×4 as well as 4×4 for specific offroad application in firefighting or agriculture,” Nye said.

“Our rigid range can be had with the city-focused P-series cab with our 7-litre or 9-litre engines, the general duties G-series cab with our 9-litre or 13-litre engines as well as the spacious R- and S-series cabs, and a range of engines from our 13-litre six-cylinder, all the way to our flagship 16.4-litre V8.

“Given the recent change to legislation in Australia mandating Euro 6 emissions compliance, Scania can instantly service the needs of Euro 6 rigid customers, many of whom may not have considered a Scania previously,” he said.

“To meet the needs of this new audience, Scania has devised a highly attractive limited time offer across Australia for retail customers selecting a Euro 6 rigid truck, comprising up to six years’ free servicing and up to six years’ Scania Finance Australia funding options, all of which combine to deliver a great deal on paper.

“Of course, our Scania rigid trucks perform just as well on the road and under load, returning excellent fuel economy, high levels of uptime, industry-leading levels of active and passive safety, and dependable reliability even in the harshest of operating environments,” Ben says. “Importantly, our company-owned service network has a decade of experience servicing these engines also.”

The Scania says the Euro 6 rigid offer is available now and runs for a limited time only.
