Paccar Australia has announced the appointment of a new marketing manager, with Ryan Hooper chosen to replace Kate Sykes, who has moved into a position in the company’s Human Resources department.
Ryan Hooper takes up the role of marketing manager after more than ten years with PACCAR Australia in a variety of roles in production, engineering, truck sales, and most recently as the aftersales manager.
“Hooper brings broad product experience and knowledge, which will prove instrumental in leading the marketing team through some major strategic milestones for PACCAR Australia over the coming years,” said the statement from Paccar Australia.
“He has an undergraduate degree in mechanical engineering from Swinburne and a graduate diploma of Business Management from AIM,” the statement added.
Hooper’s appointment comes as Paccar Australia prepares to celebrate 50 years of manufacturing Kenworth trucks in Australia, and just ahead of the imminent opening of its extensive factory expansion work to improve and increase production and efficiency of both its Kenworth and DAF trucks, along with a number of new products which are scheduled to be launched this year.
