Penske has announced the opening of a second Brisbane branch with a new facility at Lytton set to open its doors this Monday the 6th June.
The second Brisbane Penske branch is located adjacent to the Port of Brisbane and Brisbane Airport, and will represent Western Star Trucks, MAN Truck and Bus, Dennis Eagle, Detroit, and Allison Transmission.
“Our growing customer base in south-east Queensland gave us an opportunity to explore locations for a second facility in addition to our current Wacol branch,” said John Delany, general manager – eastern region for Penske Australia.
“It was quickly evident that Lytton was an ideal location to bookend Brisbane and extend our coverage of customers in the north and east.”
The operation features a 2,650 sq. metre workshop, and a 250 sq. metre warehouse and a 4560sq. metre office across a site that totals 11,100 sq metres, including 19 workshop bays, an overhead crane gantry, and a brake and suspension tester.
“Our team is working hard to ensure that when the doors open to our customers on Monday, we will be ready to provide our renowned Penske customer service excellence,” said Matt Oldham, branch manager at the new Penske Australia facility at Lytton.
“Newly furnished with high performing equipment, we are keen to receive our on-highway customers and their assets.
“Equally important, we are confident our team will enjoy working in our new facilities. We are still looking to add diesel technicians as our services ramp up, and we welcome calls from interested applicants.”
Penske Australia’s new Lytton branch is located at Unit 2/52 Trade Street Lytton, and the team can be contacted on 07 2100 7600.
