Isuzu’s Brisbane Truck Show stand features a ‘Ready to Work’ NNR 45-150 AMT Vanpack.
It’s a light truck that boasts a car-licence friendly GVM of 4,500kg coupled with Isuzu’s 4JJ1-TCS engine delivering 110kW kW at 2,800 rpm and 375 Nm at 1,600 – 2,800 rpm.
Vanpack has a locally designed and assembled 18.5 cubic metre body with four mounting points per side, double rear barn doors, rear grab handles and non-slip rear steps. LED clearance lights are fitted along with a handy interior work light.
Isuzu’s Chief Engineer, Product Strategy, Simon Humphries said Isuzu developed the Vanpack in response to feedback from Australian businesses, specifically engineering the truck to suit drivers transporting goods in urban environments.
“As logistics increasingly demands shipments delivered to customer’s doors, the NNR 45-150 AMT Vanpack means operators won’t have to compromise when they’re looking for a vehicle that can carry a lot but is nimble enough to navigate narrow, metropolitan streets.”
“Adding to its appeal, pperators can put the Vanpack to work as soon as it’s driven out of the showroom – with the correct registration and insurance,” he said.
The pre-bodied Vanpack also comes with an OEM body label, so owners won’t have to worry about the hassle and expense of getting a modification plate for it.
Standard equipment includes a six-speed automated manual transmission with torque converter and park position, a reversing camera, a Digital Audio Visual Equipment (DAVE) unit and satnav as standard.
