The recent grand opening of Winter and Taylor’s outstanding new Geelong dealership has brought good news for Geelong-ites and Isuzu truck customers.
Located on an old Bunnings site on School Road in Corio, the impressive new dealership took seven months to build and now offers customers the benefits of sales, service and parts all under the one roof.
Approximately 150 people attended the opening and were treated to a tour of the expansive facility, live music and speeches from business, government and community representatives.
Winter and Taylor Sales Manager Graeme Ruby says the new dealership, which specialises in Isuzu trucks and D-Max utes, has been a breath of fresh air for the Geelong region.
“With three major employers closing in the region over the next year or two, it’s very positive that Winter and Taylor is experiencing steady growth and opening up a facility that is in a high profile location in the town,” Graeme said.
“The size of the new space has allowed us to integrate everything – sales, service and parts. This is already helping business efficiency both for us and our customers as we can now do all our work in the one location and we’re not spending time running vehicles around.
“The amenities are also top notch, with an internal showroom and exterior vehicle display area, meeting room for customers and suppliers to use, shower facilities and wireless broadband available throughout the site.
“Our service area is a large drive-through facility, which can accommodate B-double trucks, it also has a full-length pit and portable four-post hoist,” Graeme said.
Founded by Harry Winter and Harry Taylor, Winter and Taylor first opened its doors in 1908 as an engineering business building stationary motors for machinery. The company became a car and truck franchise in the early 1920s and first began trading in Isuzu trucks in early 1973.
With a proud history of providing exceptional service delivery and quality vehicles and workmanship to customers, Winter and Taylor has forged an important stronghold in the local automotive and commercial vehicle industry and remains a valuable part of the Isuzu dealership network.
