Volvo has revealed the largest ever FH16 to roll of its Wacol production line with a massive FH16 700HP XXL with twin steer and tri-drive prime mover being delivered to the Matic Group.
Danny Matic’s new Volvo FH16 XXL 700HP twin steer tri-drive prime mover is set to join the Matic Group’s modern 200-plus truck fleet of predominantly Volvo prime movers along with more than 750 of trailers and other equipment.
“It was a proud moment for Danny and Katia to receive the keys for the first Wacol built FH16 XXL cab, twin steer tridrive”, said Volvo ‘s regional commercial manager Anthony Raisch.
“It was also great timing, as this truck marks Matic Transport’s 20th anniversary this year,” Raisch said.
Volvo says the new FH16 10×6 prime mover has a GCM of more than 200tonnes and will be transporting cement in pressurised tankers based in Geraldton out to remote mining sites around Western Australia.
