Final mile freight delivery is often associated with vans or light trucks in urban areas, but bigger and more complex loads can need more adaptable and flexible delivery solutions.
IVECO tells us one of their customers is finding this is exactly what their products allow for.
Move My Wheels is a division of the premium auto logistics group PrixCar Services and specializes in single-vehicle transportation services, both enclosed and open.
Often the vehicles being hauled are unique and high-value cars on their way to exhibitions or race meets and Move My Wheels finds smaller medium-duty trucks excel in this application.
And doing the job in style is a fleet of two IVECO Eurocargos that are both powered by 180hp Euro6 engines mated to a 12-speed AMT.
PrixCar National Fleet Manager, Goran Koviloski, said the Eurocargo specification aligned well with the application while allowing two body fitment options on the same general platform.

“With a low chassis height, we can run taller loads, especially on the tilt-trays, and we also shift the centre of gravity closer to the road for improved stability and safety.”
Helping keep the fragile loads safe and secure is optional rear airbag suspension.
Interestingly, the IVECO product is a familiar face in the PrixCar family – that division runs a fleet of Iveco S-Way prime movers.
Goran said just like the bigger trucks the Eurocargo provides drivers with a safe and comfortable working environment.
