Iveco has continued to expand its Dealer Metwork following further recent appointments in WA and Queensland, covering both the Iveco van and truck range.
The company claims the latest additions make this Iveco’s strongest dealer network expansion in a decade.
Following the appointment of AV Truck Services earlier this year in WA as a full line dealership, Kalgoorlie-based Goldfields Truck Power has also come on board as a full line Iveco outlet.
Iveco has also appointed specialist Daily van and cab chassis dealerships, offering dedicated sales, servicing and parts support for these models.
The new Daily dealerships include Perth Iveco Centre (DVG Group) in Victoria Park and Rockingham-based Bergman Auto Group Iveco, to handle the region South of Perth to better service its light commercial customers,
Meanwhile in Queensland, North Pine Daily Iveco in Petrie has also been appointed as a specialist Daily dealership.
Iveco Australia Network Development Manager, Matteo Gambaro, said a number of factors were contributing to Iveco’s network expansion, with new commercial and service strategies now being implemented following company-wide input.
“The latest additions to the network are twofold – Iveco has the desire to better service existing customers,” Mr Gambaro said, “but with the company’s product range the strongest and most extensive that it’s been in years, it’s no secret that sales growth is also on the agenda.
“Furthermore, the appointment of new Daily specialist dealerships will allow Iveco to better compete with brands that have predominantly passenger car backgrounds, where the purchase experience can be very different to that of heavy vehicles.”
Mr Gambaro said that the recent expansion of the award-winning Daily range, coupled with the imminent release of new Daily 4×4 models along with the 2016 International Truck of the Year-winning Eurocargo later this year, has sparked plenty of interest amongst prospective Iveco Dealers.
“The industry is increasingly recognising the potential of the Iveco product range which spans from passenger car licence models all the way through to 140 tonne GCM road train prime movers,” Mr Gambaro said.
“Interest in signing on has been pleasing and we expect additional Dealerships to be appointed across all states in the coming months – it’s definitely an exciting period for the Iveco brand in Australia.”
