ISUZU’S LIMITED EDITION URBAN WARRIOR

Isuzu has launched a limited edition Vanpack model, the NNR 45-150 AMT, as part of its Ready to Work range.

The NNR 45-150 AMT Vanpack has been developed specifically in response to feedback from Australian customers working in urban environments.

“As logistics increasingly demands shipments delivered to customer’s doors, the NNR 45-150 AMT Vanpack means operators won’t have to compromise when they’re looking for a vehicle that can carry a lot but is nimble enough to navigate narrow, metropolitan streets,” said IAL’s chief engineer, product strategy Simon Humphries.

“The Vanpack offers high-level performance and ease of operation. At every point in the construction of this vehicle, we’ve thought about the driver.”

With a GVM of 4,500kg, it’s powered by Isuzu’s 4JJ1-TCS engine capable of producing 110 kW at 2,800 rpm and peak 375 Nm torque from 1,600 – 2,800 rpm mated to its MYY-6E six-speed automated manual.

The 18.5 cubic metre body is designed and assembled in Australia and features double rear barn doors, grab handles and rear steps. It also is been designed with rear tailgate loaders in mind and is specified for easy fitment.

Isuzu has carefully selected the Vanpack’s dimensions to ensure a combination of maximum accessibility and internal volume. The overall height allows the Vanpack to drive under bridges and other overhead structures with 3.0 m or higher clearance restrictions.

“The pre-bodied Vanpack also comes with an OEM body label, so owners won’t have to worry about the hassle and expense of getting a modification plate for it,” Humphries added.

“We also expect the appeal of being able to put the Vanpack to work as soon as it’s driven out of the showroom – with the correct registration and insurance – won’t be lost on savvy business owners looking to get the most out of their equipment.”
