Hino has announced it has streamlined its senior management structure in a bid to make the company more agile and responsive to customer requirements.
Hino Australia chairman and CEO Steve Lotter said the creation of general managers, replacing divisional manageers would broaden responsibility and increase efficiency.
Hino has appointed three of its existing senior executives to the new level.
The three general managers are Bill Gillespie who is now GM brand and franchise development, Greg Bleasel GM product support and Louis Camps GM finance and general affairs.
Mr Lotter said the restructuring aligned with requirements to fully develop Hino’s commitment to its Hino Advantage strategy to better serve its customers.
“Increasingly the point of difference will be our ability to swiftly service our customers’ needs in the most efficient manner,” he said.
