Hino’s new American headquarters in Novi, Michigan are officially under construction following a ground-breaking ceremony last week.
The new facility is expected to be finished by the end of next year and will amalgamate the brand’s current Novi and Farmington Hills locations.
President and CEO of Hino Trucks Yoshinori Noguchi said the commencement of construction of the state of the art building marks a bright future for the brand in the USA.
“Today’s groundbreaking not only signifies Hino’s growth in the U.S. but also a new beginning for our operations in the U.S. With sales, distribution, engineering and manufacturing operations all under one roof at our new U.S. headquarters, our ability to manage the phenomenal growth of the Hino Brand in America will be greatly enhanced.
“In that spirit, we are excited to break ground on our new office and collectively work together as one Hino U.S. team. We are grateful to the state of Michigan, Oakland County and the City of Novi for their partnership as Hino USA continues to expand its footprint in the United States,” he said.
