Kenworth has announced that it has delivered a new T410 SAR, as part of its ongoing support for the Healthy Heads in Trucks & Sheds (HHTS) charity.

The support is part of an ongoing initiative byKenworth and its parent Paccar as well as its Dealer Industry Fund.

The new Kenworth T410 was officially presented to HHTS by Paccar Australia managing director, Damian Smethurst, to the CEO Naomi Frauenfelder.

The handover of the keys to the custom-designed T410SAR took place at the Kenworth DAF Bayswater Plant, which Paccar says marks a milestone in the partnership, which supports mental and physical health within the transport, warehousing, and logistics industries.

The new Kenworth is the second truck provided by Paccar and its dealer network to join HHTS and the company claims it strengthens the organisations’ shared commitment to delivering customised solutions that cater to the circumstances of individuals in the transport sector.

“Our partnership with Paccar and its dealers and the addition of a new Kenworth allows us to enhance and expand our outreach capabilities significantly,” said Naomi Frauenfelder.
“In our first three years of operating the DAF Road Show vehicle, we have seen very strong demand to have the HHTS team onsite, raising awareness and delivering programs designed for the diverse and unique needs within our sector. This truck will enable further delivery of these programs, reaching more people with essential support and resources,” said Frauenfelder.

Damien Smethurst said the company was proud to deliver this truck to the team at Healthy Heads in Trucks & Sheds and hopesthe expansion of its delivery capability across Australia.

“Promoting and delivering vital mental health resources, will continue to foster a culture of support and understanding among those in our industry,” said Smethurst.

“Kenworth is a much-loved brand in the industry,” added Frauenfelder.

“We are delighted to join the legion of organisations with a Kenworth. This partnership not only strengthens our resources but connects us with a loyal community of supporters who we hope can play a vital role in promoting mental health awareness,” she added.

With another truck already in its fleet, HHTS plans to increase its visibility and accessibility, ensuring that individuals in the transport industry have access to support and resources to manage their mental and physical health effectively.

Following the handover, the truck will receive its livery, with plans for an unveiling of the unique design at the Brisbane Truck Show in May.

The Healthy Heads Road Show program is a cornerstone of HHTS’s outreach strategy, designed to connect individuals directly with resources and programs that promote mental health awareness. The initiative currently delivers more than 40 events annually, reaching approximately 4,000 individuals each year. In addition, HHTS completed over 350 free health screenings in 2024 alone, emphasising its commitment to proactive health management.
