FIAT LAUNCHES NEW PROFESSIONAL DUCATO VAN RANGE TO AUSTRALIA

Fiat has announced it has introduced a refreshed version of its Ducato van which it says  is now powered by a new 2.3-litre turbo diesel Euro 6 engine mated to a new ZF-9-speed automatic transmission.

Fiat claims the Series 7 Professional Ducato delivers optimal torque while ensuring best fuel efficiency, with the 180 multijet engine producing 130kW power at 3,500 rpm and 450Nm peak torque for the automatic and 400Nm for manual versions.

“The improved drivetrain along with the transmission updates in the new Fiat Professional Ducato enhances the overall vehicle performance and provides ultimate comfort,” said Guillaume Drelon, director, brand and product strategy for Fiat Professional Australia.

“Whilst delivering more torque and a smoother drive, we’re also thrilled to now offer additional standard safety and convenience features within the Fiat Professional Ducato range,” said Drelon.

Fiat says the updated Professional Ducato range introduces a suite of standard safety and convenience features, including Full Brake Control and Lane Departure Warning, reverse camera, brake assist, roll-over mitigation and a hill holder. An additional Safety Pack option adds even more safety features including Blind Spot Assist +, Rear Cross Path Detection, Traction+ and Hill Descent Control.

The Comfort and Tech Pack offers a 7” infotainment screen with navigation, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. It also includes LED Daytime running lights, automatic climate control and a tyre pressure monitoring system.All models in the range now feature the new 2.3L Euro 6D engine, nine-speed automatic transmission and new AdBlue tank. The XLWB MR will only be available with auto transmission and the rest of the range will be available with manual or auto transmission.

The updated Fiat Professional Ducato range is on sale from $46,300 MSRP through Fiat Professional Dealerships across Australia.
