EQUAL FOOTING – DAIMLER AGAIN ACCREDITED BY GENDER EQUALITY AGENCY

Daimler Truck Australia Pacific has  announced that has once again been accredited as an Employer of Choice for Gender Equality (EOCGE) for  period till 2025.

According to the company this is the sixth year in a row that it has achieved EOCGE accreditation.

“The prestigious EOCGE recognition underscores our unwavering commitment to fostering an inclusive and equitable workplace where every individual can thrive,” said Daniel Whitehead, the president and CEO of Daimler Truck Australia .

“This accreditation is not just an award; it’s a reaffirmation of our values and our commitment to creating a diverse and inclusive workplace,” he said.

Workplace Gender Equality Agency CEO , Mary Wooldridge, said that the WGEA Employer of Choice for Gender Equality citation recognises an employer’s efforts to tackle the deep-rooted causes of gender inequality in the workplace.

Daimler Truck Australia manages the Mercedes-Benz, Freightliner and Fuso truck brands in Australia and has recently  introduced a range of fully-electric trucks including the new-gen Fuso eCanter and the Mercedes-Benz eActros and eEconic.
