Isuzu Australia Limited (IAL) has joined forces with Gotcha4Life to support the cause of mental fitness and strong communities through raffling a one-of-a-kind, custom-built NNR 45-150 Traypack Crew valued at over $150,000.
The Gotcha4Life Foundation has a straightforward vision; zero suicides.
The Australian not-for-profit established in 2017 delivers mental fitness programs that engage, educate, and empower local communities.
Gotcha4Life focuses on the creation of meaningful mateship, along with strengthening social and emotional connections in local communities. Early intervention is key and through connection, communities become stronger together!
The road to mental fitness
“Isuzu is in full support of Gotcha4Life’s goal of zero suicides,” – Sam Gangemi, IAL’s Marketing and Advertising Manager.
“Australians have been hit hard by natural disasters and the COVID-19 pandemic over the past few years. With extra stress placed on regional communities along with our hard-working truck drivers who have kept Australians fed, clothed, entertained, and supported.
“In support of Gotcha4Life and the broader cause, we’ve partnered with some of our trusted suppliers to build this unique NNR Traypack Crew, which is being raffled off and the proceeds donated to Gotcha4Life.
“It’s our mission to help Gotcha4Life do what they do best: reach out to communities, educate on mental fitness, and provide a supportive hand for those doing it tough.”
Mateship Miles
The NNR’s first major outing came in April during the Mateship Miles roadshow, which visited key regional communities in Victoria, the ACT and New South Wales in an epic week-long event promoting and educating on mental fitness and the importance of mateship in some of Australia’s most impacted regional cities.
“To raise awareness of what Gotcha4Life does, key team members from IAL, Channel Nine’s Today Show, along with Gus Worland, Gotcha4Life’s founder, participated in the event, which was a huge success,” Mr Gangemi said.
“Some of our own staff went along on this once in a lifetime roadshow to get firsthand experience seeing Gotcha4Life in action and to show that Isuzu backs this worthy cause all the way.”
Swiss Army Truck
Up for grabs in the raffle is a one-of-a-kind Isuzu NNR 45-150 Crew TC-AMT.
The intent behind the unique body design and build, executed by our friends at Service Bodies Australia, is for the truck to serve as a mobile community hub for Gotcha4Life’s on the road activities.
Following the raffle, the NNR Crew would be the perfect truck for all manner of sporting teams, with fridges packed with cold drinks and BBQs for those post-game meals.
Scout groups and Girl Guide groups would also be an excellent fit, with the NNR well equipped to be the centerpiece of camping trips in the Aussie bush.
For those community groups or hobbyist clubs, the truck would be a great option too, able to be put to use by bringing everything needed for a sausage sizzle and a hot cup of coffee.
With its solar-equipped battery set-up, those in regional communities could find endless uses for this versatile yet powerful truck.
“Whether you’re a small business owner or in the paddocks working the land, the NNR is a workhorse of a truck, capable of all manner of work missions great and small.
“Finally, we can’t forget the potential of this set-up as a campervan or mobile home. With a host of cooking facilities, two fridges and a Nespresso coffee machine, it will bring the average grey nomad experience to the next level!” Mr. Gamgemi added.
