Growing automotive aftermarket player Bapcor has agreed to buy the Truckline parts business from Iveco’s parent company CNH Industrial.
Truckline is amongst the largest retailers and distributors of aftermarket parts and accessories for trucks and trailers in Australia, selling parts for all European, North American and Japanese brands.
The company currently operates 22 branches across the country with distribution warehouses in Perth and Brisbane.
CNH says Bapcor’s purchase of the operation this will ensure continuity of service for Australia’s commercial vehicle customers and also said that Iveco, will continue to supply and serve its Australian customer base with original equipment parts and service through its aftermarket division.
Bapcor has also recently agreed to purchase specialist Japanese commercial truck spare parts suoplier, Diesel Drive, outlaying $48 million to acquire the business as part of its strategic direction while saying the entry into heavy commercial trucks further complements the group’s opertations.
