Iveco has announced it is kicking off a new sales campaign for its heavy duty flagship S-Way models and its volume selling Daily range with the company claiming is making it is making it more attractive than ever to add an S-Way AS 550 6×4 Prime Mover and Daily vans and cab chassis to fleets.
The claim come following the announcement of Iveco’s ‘Serious Value’ campaign, which the company says is designed to boost value and support for owners.
Until 30 June, 2025, those in the market for a B-Double prime mover can put an S-Way AS 550 to work and enjoy the added benefits of a 5 year / 1,000,000 kilometre extended driveline warranty, along with the first five services free, and five years of ‘Iveco On’ telematics.
The AS 550 is the flagship of Iveco’s on-road range and features a 550hp / 2500Nm Euro 6 (Step E) engine, 16-speed Hi-Tronix automated manual transmission and 70,000kg GVM, making the platform ideal for a range of intra and interstate single and B-Double applications.
Other benefits include a suite of active and passive safety features and driver aids including GPS Predictive Driving, Advanced Emergency Braking System, Adaptive Cruise Control and Lane Departure Warning system.
Iveco On telematics offers a range of measures to help improve productivity while reducing operating costs. Using S-Way’s connected on-board Driving Style Evaluation (DSE) system, regular reports are available to owners and fleet managers. The reports include detailed fuel consumption and driving style data, allowing changes to be made to improve fuel efficiency. The system can also provide live tips to further promote frugal driving on-route.
For added safety, the system can also monitor and provide alerts on events such as harsh braking and acceleration and more. Detailed reports can be downloaded for further analysis and consultation to cover areas of concern. Additionally, Iveco On can assist to minimise fleet down-time, by providing detailed insights into vehicle operating data including odometer readings, scheduled maintenance reporting, and instrument cluster light alerts covering battery voltage level and engine coolant, engine oil and transmission fluid status.
As well, prospective light truck or van owners can, for a limited time, also take advantage of extended warranties from Iveco, with all Daily 4×2 models purchased before April 30, coming with co-market* leading 6 years / 250,000km warranties.
On offer in the Daily van range are variants with volume capacities spanning from 9m³ to a market-leading 19.6m³ and GVMs beginning with passenger car licence 3.8t to a market-leading 7.0t. Cab chassis choice is also extensive, with both single and dual cab models available beginning from 3.8t GVM through to a light truck licence 7.2t and offering payloads of up to 4.7t.
Powering the range are premium Euro 6 drivelines with output ranging from 100kW / 350Nm to a market-leading 155kW and 470Nm, which are coupled to either an easy-shifting 6-speed manual, or the industry leading H-Matic 8-speel full automatic. All Daily models also feature a 3.5t braked towing capacity, making the platform perfect for towing additional materials, equipment or goods.
