Daimler Trucks’ parts arm, Alliance Truck Parts has announced it has introduced the first Australian-made injection moulded 700mm wide truck mudguard.
Alliance claims the MG700 guard is UV-stabilised for durability in Australian conditions and is well suited for trucks with wider drive tyres.
The company says the internal width of the new MG700 mudguard is an additional 50mm compared to the current MG650 which allows for extra clearance for wider profile tyres and various truck models as required.
Alliance says the polypropylene guards, which are 100 per cent recyclable, feature ribs on the inside, which provide strength but also help keep down spray.
The guards are available in a range of different colours and join the 620mm and 650mm Alliance Truck Parts Australian-made mudguards in the local line-up and can be used with existing Alliance mudguard accessories.
The company also offers mounting bracket kits for the various mudguard amidst its range of new and remanufacture all-makes parts and accessories to ensure trucks and trailers remain where they should be, on the road.
