Australa’s largest automotive dealer, Automotive Holdings Group (AHG) has announced it has appointed former long time Toyota executive, Tony Cramb as its new chief operating officer for its (franchised automotive operations.
Cramb spent 30 years at Toyota across a range of senior leadership roles including sales, marketing and operations and most recently as executive director of sales and marketing and was responsible for the transformation to a seller of imported vehicles following the ending of local manufacturing.
AHG MD John McConnell says Cramb has a wealth of experience in the automotive industry, with a track record of delivering exceptional commercial outcomes, leading business transformation and putting people and customers at the heart of the operations.
“Equally as important as his industry knowledge, Tony is an exceptional leader,” McConnell adds.
“He will bring a collaborative and engaging style of leadership to our franchised automotive business, and I am confident he will work effectively with the leadership team to set the broader strategy and expectations for delivery, and will then work closely with the vehicle manufacturers to execute that strategy.”
Cramb starts his new role on October 22.
